Easy Steps for Switching to Guaranty Bank and Trust.

We’re here to help with the process.

Step 1. – Open Your Guaranty Bank Account
Stop by a Guaranty Bank office near you to open your new account. Make note of your account number and Guaranty’s routing number. You’ll need them later. Guaranty’s Routing number is 065204980

Step 2. – Stop Using Your Old Account
Be sure to let all of your checks clear on your old account. This could take up to 10 days or more. Be sure to destroy all unused checks, ATM and debit cards, and deposit slips.

Step 3. – Change Direct Deposits
Fill out a Direct Deposit of Payroll form from your employer, the Social Security Administration or your retirement plan administrator. Include a new deposit slip form or voided check from us.

Step 4. – Change your Automatic Payments (ACH)
Use an automatic withdrawals form to change all automatic withdrawals or automated payment services. Don’t forget about those that use your old debit card number.

Step 5. – Close Your Old Account
Now it’s time to begin making your financial life better. Fill out a closed account form at your old bank to close your account. If, after all your checks have cleared, you have a remaining balance, your old bank will send you a check.
